[edit] Points in Favor

Major Roadway in the Port of Los Angeles

This project will improve connections from the 110 Freeway that will enable the Port's marine terminals in the West Basin to efficiently move cargo containers to rail heads and distribution centers. It will reduce truck congestion and improve air quality in the area. The project will also improve traffic safety by improving the existing Harry Bridges Blvd to a modern heavy weight high -volumn roadway with enhanced traffic control and paving systems.
