Award Description: This project will develop the chemical tools that will enable researchers to study certain proteins in the body to better understand their reactions to various chemicals and interactions with each other. By understanding these protein interactions, improved drugs may be developed that will have better properties and less side effects.

Project Description: Toward the overall goal of the development of bivalent ligands as tools to better understand receptor heterodimerization, over 30 compounds have been prepared and their biological activities have been evaluated in our laboratory.
