Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5)of the Head Start Act.
Project Description: Project Description - ARRA COLA and Quality Funds will be used to: Increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment and one time salary enhancement to improve the overall quality of the program, provide professional development to staff to improve qualifications; improve accessibility and safety at two sites. Quaterly Activities - Staff received a cost of living adjustment effective July 1, 2009; carpeting has been replaced and magnetic door installed at our Early Head Start site
