Jobs Summary: This report shows zero jobs created because there were zero project expenditures as of 9/30/2009. The narrative below provides an estimate/description of jobs that will be created/retained once the project is begun. Jobs created/retained estimate: 1.33 Narrative: The grant will assist with salary support and retention of the following positions: 1 - Principle Investigator (0.30 FTE) who will prepare progress reports and supervise the budget. He will oversee and coordinate the development and implementation of all study forms. He will build the final protocol and DSMB plan as well as build a CRF for the study. 2 - Investigators (0.08 FTE) - one who will work closely with and advice the principal investigator in refining the protocol, important data elements, endpoints and possible confounders and one who will provide advice if clinical problems arise during the trial and help communicate with the collaborators. 1 - Coordinator (.40 FTE) who will build the manual of procedures and will help the PI in developing the CRF for the study. 1 - Database programmer (.15 FTE) who will assist the programmer in setting up the study database. 1 - Programmer (.40 FTE) who will be responsible for setting up the database and study progress tracking reports.
