Award Description: PA-07-070 Research Project Grant - Parent ROI

Project Description: Specific Aims: 1. Develop analytical methodology to profile small molecules relevant to oxidative stress in microdialysis samples. 2. Investigate the relationship of seizure duration and intensity to oxidative stress and oxidative damage using the 3-MPA model for epileptic seizures. 3. Investigate the relationship of seizure duration and intensity to oxidative stress and oxidative damage using the kindling model of epilepsy.
