Award Description: Highway Infrastructure Investment Grant: Areas Over 200K
Project Description: This project provides intersection improvements at 7 locations in Dekalb County. The project consists of the South and North Hairston Road corridors from Kenilworth Drive to Mainstreet Park Drive. The total project length is approximately 1.2 miles. The project encompasses signal upgrades and pedestrian improvements at the following signalized intersections along the corridor: 1.) North Hairston Road and Kenilworth Drive, 2.) North Hairston Road and Keighley Drive, 3.) Hairston Road and Rockbridge Road, 4.) South Hairston Road and Fairforest Drive, 5.) South Hairston Road and Martins Crossing Road, 6.) South Hairston Road and Elam Road, 7.) South Hairston Road and Mainstreet Park Drive.
