Award Description: PA-06-180 NIH Small Research Grant Program Parent R03
Project Description: The goals of this award are to 1) determine the 3-dimensional structure of the chlamydial transcription factor ChxR, and 2) intradomain interface, and 3) DNA binding residues. An early achievement important to achieve these goals is the ability to readily purify the various recombinant proteins for analysis. During the first quarter of this award, we have evaluated instrumentation and obtained purchase quotes.
