Award Description: ARRA--Capital Improvement Projects. Primary Health Care Center needs to resolve 3 major problems: 1) the acquisition of electronic medical records and practice management for both Trenton and Rossville GA clinical sites. Implementation of HER will eliminate a number of deficiencies in the Center's health record system. 2) Another major problem involves the repair of the Trenton facility's parking area, signage for this site to replace, old, rotted wooden signs, water drainage issues, repair/renovation of the original area of the medical clinic, and replacement of the roof of a modular building at the facility currently being used for centralized financial offices, IT equipment and appointment call center. In addition 3) the Center needs to acquire new clinical equipment and replace some very old equipment in disrepair. In addition, the Rossville site needs signage and an awning at the employee entrance. The addition of practice management and electronic medical records and the improvements in the parking area, clinical area, and replacement of old equipment will enable the Center to be much more competitive and better able to promote its services in the communities it serves. The Center's clinics 2 sites will be much more attractive to local industry and businesses as well as individuals who reside in the area.
