Award Description: The program is established to identify eligible CSBG ARRA recipients, and provide the opportunity for them to obtain or enhance the necessary skills to secure meaningful employment. Targeted individuals will include those who have recently suffered business cutbacks or lay offs due to the economy’s recession. Families with minor children will be given a priority. Located in a rural area, the community workforce demands skilled workers in various area of expertise, this program would allow eligible clients to train and obtain a trade or vital skills to meet these community needs.
