Award Description: Invest in public transportation by purchasing new medium duty hybrid bus, replace bus wash, purchase support vehicles, fare equipment and upgrade communication system.
Project Description: This grant will allow the transit agency to purchase a new medium duty hybrid bus and bus wash along with the replacement of aging support vehicles and maintenance equipment. The bus will be more environmentaly friendly and fuel efficient. Additional bus shelters and communication equipment at the transit center will provide valuable information about our service to our customers.
