Award Description: The project consists of construction work on airfield pavements and airfield lighting work for McChord AFB on the C-17 Assault Strip located at the Grant County Airport in Moses Lake, W A. The construction work includes removing, replacing and repairing PCC pavement pane ls, PCC joint sealant replacement, and removal and replacement of asphalt shoulder pavement. The project also encompasses upgrading an existing airfield lighting system to include a single regulator system with addressable lights for assault landing zone. This work shall include installation of new air field light fixtures, addressable uni ts, lighting vault computer, regulator, radio frequency controlling device, programming, monitoring, and controls associated with the system. Constructions periods are defined as coordinated with other on-going airfield activities at Grant County AirpOt1 and McChord AFB.
Project Description: Completed work includes: 1. Removal and placement of asphalt shoulder (including Change Order work to extend the width from 25 feet to 30 feet). 2. Concrete panel replacement (Total of 9 panels removed and replaced). 3. Spall Repair 4. Crack Repair 5. Electrical Work- All Site Work associated with the runway
