Project Description: ARRA funds were used to cover payroll expenditures within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation adult prison unit resulting in the retention of 18,229 employees (correctional officers, medical staff, executive and administrative personnel) working in 33 adult prison facilities throughout the state.
