Award Description: Educational Technology State Grants to States to improve student academic achievement through the innovative use and the effective integration of new and emerging technology with teacher training, curriculum development, and succesful research-based instructional methods in elementary and secondary schools.
Project Description: 100% of funds to school districts are awarded competively. The competive focus will be to provide professional development for effective classroom technology integration, bridge the digital divide, facilitate student's technology literacy by the end of the 8th grade and all four main goals of the ARRA program. The SEA's non-administrative activities will be to provide techinal assistanace and support to all school district participating in the ARRA Technology program.
