Award Description: Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to provide grants to States to support nutrition services including nutritious meals, nutrition education and other appropriate nutrition services for older Americans in order to maintain health, independence and quality of life. Meals will be delivered to the home where the older individual is homebound.
Project Description: Funds were used to help increase the nutrient intake of older adults at nutrition risk and allow them to remain independent in their homes.
