Award Description: Conduct modernization activities at three Public Housing developments - primarily the installation of geo-thermal HVAC in seventy units. This funding can be expected to provide employment or job retention for architects and engineers, construction workers and product manufacturers. This funding will also allow for future energy cost savings from the more efficient heating/cooling systems.
Project Description: This project is still in the architectural design phase. We hope to bid the project in early November. At that time there should be opportunity for job creation and retention in the construction industry.
Jobs Summary: Our architect has hired two full time employees - an architect and an intern architect. They have also retained two staff positions - a senior architectural technician and a clerical position. They worked a total of 50 hours on our project from April through September -- 50/1040=0.05 FTE jobs (Total jobs reported: 0)
