Award Description: Engineering design services for Reverse Osmosis System for Bldg 152 Central Steam Plant of MCAS Cherry Point. Overall, the system will provide cleaner water to the boiler system which will result in less blowdown waste, longer life for the boiler tubes, and less chemical treatment. RO system shall be for 200 GPM and shall include a 9000 gallon storage tank. Condensate polisher replacement (400 GPM) is also included due to the existing units being undersized. Final design due by November 29, 2009.
Project Description: Two site visits have been performed to meet with the facility and as-built existing conditions so we can perform our design. We have begun to document existing conditions in CADD. We are preparing design documents and specifications. We are directing the subconsultant for asbestos and lead paint sampling.
Jobs Summary: We are in the process of submitting our first invoice. Since we have not received any of the money in the contract yet, we feel we cannot claim that we have created a job as of yet although certainly we are paying the people who are working on the project. (Total jobs reported: 0)
