Award Description: Invest in public transportation by purchasing new buses for the night service operations, purchasing new ADA vans, purchasing two replacement support vehicles, and performing preventive maintenance on all active fleet
Project Description: This grant has allowed the transit system to purchase four buses for the night service operations, 6 ADA vans (including spares), two support vehicles that will compliment our system and preventive maintenance on all existing buses. As a result of these investments, the transit agency will be ablet o offer public transportation services that is safer, more reliable, more environmentally friendly, and more accessible for people with disabilities.
Jobs Summary: Vehicle manufacturs will need to put more people to work to meet the demands. We have not yet received the vehicles. Manufacturing jobs will be reported when the vehicles are delivered. (Total jobs reported: 0)
