Award Description: The plan for the grant is for redevelopment or moderization of Spencer Towers. Spencer Towers is a RIHA property that contains 199 one bedroom units that houses elderly and people with disabilities. The property is in need of major modernization/renovation. A recent phyical needs assessment, on the property, has indicated that the property is significantly past it's usefull life and is in need of major renovation/modernization. Total project cost for complete renovation is estimated in excess of $20,000,000.00
