Award Description: Program will primarily invest in economic development, housing, infrastructure, and other public facility activities that will spur further economic investment, increased energy efficiency ,and job creation/retention.
Project Description: The City of Toledo Department of Neighborhoods has had multiple pre-activity meetings with project partners to establish program procedures, coordinating service delivery and identifying the target area for the Rehabilitation Collaboration Program. As a team we have been going out to the target area weekly taking applications and qualifying households for assistance. Assessment of qualifed units began the first week of September and we are waiting approval of our Request for Release of Funds before we can begin rehabilitation activities.
