Award Description: The purpose of this contract is to obligate $12,141,675 for the Omaha Lead (OU2) cleanup. The period of performance for this work is 08/24/2009 to 08/23/2011. This work is alleviate the human risk posed by lead, by excavating lead contaminated soils from residential properties in Omaha NE. This requires excavating lead contaminated soil from designated properties until an average residual concentration of 400ppm is reached in the intial foot of excavation from the surface, or until a residual concentration of 1,200ppm is reached at depths greater than one foot, and restoration of the affected properties to pre-excavation condition.
