Award Description: The EECBG program was developed with the goals of reducing energy use and fossil fuel emissions, reducing total energy use of eligible entities, and providing improvements to energy efficiency. The City of Bradenton's program will reduce energy usage by installing solar panels to the City Centre, Water and Waster Water Treatment Plants. The projected average monthly utility savings is $4,319 with a cost of solar energy being $0.17 per kWh. A reduction in Green House emissions is expected to be 1,887 tons of CO2.
