Award Description: Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program The City has been awarded an initial award for preparation of an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy (EECS) as required by the DOE and the development of a Climate Action Plan (CAP). The City will submit the EECS within 120 days of the effective date of the award. The DOE will release the award balance to the City upon approval.
