Award Description: Funding is for Energy Efficiency COnservation Block Grant. Funding will go towards two projects at the Hammond Road Detention Center: 1) An automated Building Management System to control temperature, electricity use and maintenance warnings, and 2) Insulated roofing and reflective roofing to keep the building cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, thereby reducing energy costs.
Project Description: Project has not started though it is currently out for bid. A construction manager (CM) at-risk has been selected for the overall Detention Center project. This CM has been selected, and will handle the bidding and awarding for this project. However at this time, no action has been taken. Next steps include selection of vendor and beginning planning phases
