Award Description: ALDI Store Project - Kansas City, Missouri. Focused Phase II Targeted Brownfields Assessment.

Project Description: START was tasked by the EPA Region 7 Superfund Division to conduct a Phase II TBA at the ALDI Store site, located on the northwest corner of 39th Street and Prospect Avenue within the designated Green Impact Zone in Kansas City, Missouri. The project area includes a former filling station and garage, former dry cleaners, former paint store, 10 current residential structures, and one current commercial structure. Tetra Tech START has obtained existing environmental data and studies conducted for the Department of City Planning and Development, Kansas City, Missouri. A site-specific QAPP is being prepared based on review of existing data. Field activities will be scheduled and conducted when EPA approves the QAPP.
