Project Description: Street Overlays in Census Tract 48.00, Block Groups 2 and 3. Sidewalk Improvements in Census Tract 48.00, Block Group 3
Infrastructure Description: To preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery by providing temporary work to approximately 17 persons during construction phase of Street Overlays and Sidewalk Improvements. These Infrastructure improvements will invest in street transportation improvements and environmental protection. Street Overlays will increase auto fuel efficiency for neighborhood residents and will provide an improved or more accessible road network for commuting to job centers for employment. New Sidewalks will encourage the community to walk instead of utilizing an automobile. This will assist in the reduction of air pollution (auto emissions).
