Award Description: To enhance enforcement efforts at ARRA funded construction projects, infrastructure and green energy projects, and related manufacturing support industries.
Project Description: The purpose of this grant is to fund additional enforcement activity at ARRA-funded projects and related industries. This includes salaries, fringe benefits, travel, and limited equipment. The expected result is greater focus on worker safety and health at ARRA-funded worksites, for the purpose of reducing or eliminating illnesses, injuries and fatalities. In 1st quarter of FY 2009 our agency conducted 0 inspections directly and indirectly related to ARRA funded projects.
