Award Description: The ARRA funds were used on the Northern Cheyenne reservation to provide full-time temporary employment for youth from 14-24 years of age.
Project Description: These funds were utilized to hire youth and supervisors from the five districts on the reservation. The worksites were in their respective districts-cleanup, maintainance of community areas, assisted elderly, etc.
Jobs Summary: There was a total of 42 jobs created and retained this summer: 31 full-time temporary youth jobs, 8 full-time temporary supervisors, and 3 full-time perm staff positions retained. (Total jobs reported: 10)
