Award Description: Highway Infrastructure Investment Grant: Available for Use in Any Area (flexible)
Project Description: 'SFY 09/10 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE INITIATIVE (PMI) PAVING. THE WORK WILL BE DONE ONLY ON ELIGIBLE FED-AID ROUTES ONLY THOUGH OUT ORANGE AND ULSTER COUNTIES'
Infrastructure Description: 4R Reconstruction, No Added Capacity. Preserve/Create jobs; and economic recovery. Invest in transportation.
Jobs Summary: Repave approximately 22 miles of state roadway in Orange and Ulster counties. The top layer of worn, deteriorated pavement will be removed and replaced with new asphalt and fresh pavement markings to extend the service life of pavement. (Total jobs reported: 13)
