Award Description: The project is a collaborative effort that exists to increase the number and effectiveness of high school mathematics teachers in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region's urban core.
Project Description: Since the project start date, flyers and brochures have been created. Recruiting efforts are underway in conjunction with the NKU admissions office. Information has been disseminated internally at NKU faculty meetings, and approriate student classes and student organization meetings. Information has also been distributed at regional meetings for school teachers and administrators. Work has also begun to identify specific summer internship opportunities and to refine program timelines and evaluation information.
