Award Description: Acquire one (1) Airfield Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Vehicle (Class II)
Project Description: Acquire one (1) ARFF Class II Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) per FAA specifications for Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicles. Water/foam capacity of not less than 300/40 gallons, and dry chemical capacity of not less than 500 lbs. Performance requirements shall follow the NFPA 414 performance requirements. This vehicle would replace the twelve-year-old 1997 model Ford F-Super Duty ARFF RIV purchased in that year with federal AIP funds.
Jobs Summary: 50 hours spent by Sales and Marketing staff; 20 hours spent by Purchasing staff; 160 hours spent by Engineering staff. A total of 230 hours were expended since grant inception against a possible quarterly total of 712 hours (230/712) gives .32 FTE jobs retained.
