Award Description: The Justice Assistance Grant Program funded under the Recovery Act is the primary provided of federal criminal justice funding to state and local jurisdictions.Lincoln County will use the Recovery Act JAG funds to purchase essential equipment for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The county will obtain firearms, vests, lasers, uniforms and radios. This equipment will allow the officers to safely, effectively and efficiently protect and serve the citizens of Lincoln County.
Project Description: These Recovery Act JAG funds will be used to purchase essential equipment for LCSO. The county will obtain firearms, vests, tasers, uniforms and radios in order for the officers to proform their duties safely, efficiently adn effectively.
