Award Description: The Tennessee Department of Health is committed to assuring that all Tennesseans have access to quality, affordable health care. State-wide recruitment and retention is a key component of the Department’s safety-net efforts and the New Limited Award will significantly assist in achieving this goal. The Tennessee Primary Care Office is equally committed to this mission of enhancing access to quality health care by providing financial support and technical assistance to both urban and rural communities for recruitment of health professionals such as physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants for underserved communities in Tennessee.
