Award Description: Continued implementation of the Central Utah Project. Water supply pipeline will be constructed with stimulus funds.

Project Description: Spanish Fork Canyon Pipeline - Reach 3: Pipe fabrication is taking place in California. Ames employees onsite in Utah are rock scaling and preparing the alignment for pipe installation. Spanish Fork Provo Reservoir Canal - Mapleton Reach: Pipe fabrication is taking place in Texas. SJ Louis employees onsite are potholing to verify utility locations in preparation of pipe installation.

Infrastructure Description: Water Delivery Pipeline.

Jobs Summary: Bulk of work to date has been in pipe fabrication with work taking place at Northwest Pipe Plants in Texas and California. The California operation involves 37 workers fabricating 96' Welded Steel Pipe. The Texas operation employs 71 employees fabricating 60' Welded Steel Pipe. Each project has two workers involved on site in Utah. (Total jobs reported: 37)
