Award Description: This grant is subject to the requirements as set forth in 45 CFR Part 87. This grant is suject to the requirements set forth in 45 CFR part 74 (for non-profit orgainzations and educational institutions) or 45 CFR Part 92 (for state, local, and federally recognized tribal governments). Initial expenditure of funds by the grantee consititutes acceptance of this award. No future support is anticipated.(**) Reflects only federal share of approved budget. Client Population: 200, Number of Delegates:0. This grant awards funds made available to the Head Start program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. heasd Start funds are a warded under CAN No 2009 G06R022. This action awards a cost-of-living adjustment (COSA) increase of 1.84% in the amt. of $27,959 for head Start. these funds must be obligated to pay for staff salaries over the 120mont period following the effective date of this grant or within the 12 months after staff return to work in the summer/fall/ of 2009. The action also awards qualityimprovements funds of $75,586 for head Start. Approval is included for the purchase of play structures in the amount of $$41,000, up-grad of playground by providing walkways for children, fall zone material in the amount of $19,586, and classroom supplies in the amount of $10,000. these funds are available for obligation over the entire project period of the grant, which ends September 30, 2010.
