Award Description: The AmeriCorps State Recovery awards were made available to exisiting AmeriCorps State grantees in Alabama for project expansion for up to one year. Three (3) sub-grantees expanded utilizing these funds. Expansion included increased support to school systems with tutors and mentors, increased technology training in underserved areas and job skill/job readiness training for members.
