Award Description: Wetlands Delineation Verifications. Perform verification of jurisdictional wetlands determinations, approximately 5.0 acres located at Picatinney, New Jersey and delineated under Louis Berger Contract W91278-06-D-0017, Task Order 003. The wetlands delineations ascertained the presence of jurisdictional wetlands and were conducted in accordance with the Federal Manual for Identifying and Delineating Jurisdictional Wetlands, 1987; all pertinent, updated guidance such as the National List of Plant Species that Occur in Wetlands, USFWS, 1988 and all associated regional lists; Hydric Soils of the U.S., USDA, SCS, 1988; Hydric Soils List for Morris County; and Field Guide for Determining the Presence of State Water That Require a Buffer, New Jersey Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, Watershed Protection Branch, Nonpoint Source Program. Whenever possible, streams were identified as perennial, intermittent or ephemeral.
