Award Description: Furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to retrofit roof system at Building S-5. Work will consist of removal of all built-up roofing material and insulation down to the m etal deck to include metal flashing, pitch pockets, debris, and clean entire roof surface, approx 10.200 sf. Work also includes providing and installing a trapizoidal standing seam metal roof to include new truss material to provide a 4:12 slope. Installation of new roofing insulation, new metal drip edge gutter system with downspouts, and all related accessories is also included. The new roof will have a 20 year standard system warranty for commercial buildings that covers all labor and materials.

Project Description: This project was not started in this quarter. The contract was awarded on August 31, 2009, and we have ordered the roofing materials for the project. They have not been delivered or paid for as of the end of the quarter. Payment and Performance Bonds have been issued. Additionally, no funds have been invoiced on this project for this quarter.

Jobs Summary: Because of this contract, we have been able to retain 6 jobs and create approximately 4 jobs. The jobs retained consist of 1 project manager, 4 roofers, and 1 laborer. We will be adding 3 roofers, and 1 additional laborer to this project. (Total jobs reported: 10)
