Award Description: The purpose of this grant is to increase the number of National Health Service Corps Recruitment and Retention Applications reviewed, recommended, and subsequently filled by qualified healthcare providers to serve populations in critical health professional shortage areas.
Project Description: To identify qualified healthcare facilities not participating in NHSC in an effort to increase NHSC approved sites. To perform outreach activities to sites identified in an effort to increase knowledge of NHSC programs by related programs. To survey sites identified to determine staffing needs in an effort to create and retain jobs.
