Infrastructure Description: Renovation and repair of student housing. Renovation of Library Building - Roof, windows, electrical, HVAC, Concrete, interior renovations. To invest in transportation, environmental protection and other infrastructure that will provide long term economic benefits. Installation and upgrade of fire safety for the protection and continued safety of our students, employees, and facilities. Installation of new roof top units that are more environmentally friendly and cost effective for the institution to operate. Funded part of a Science building renovation. The project was necessary for accreditation of the Dental Hygiene program. It will bring the Research Support Building in compliance with USDA standards.
Jobs Summary: Higher Education: Total jobs 77.54 FTE Construction jobs including painters, electricans, plumbers, flooring installers, glass installers, concrete workers, and carpenters. These projects could not have been completed without the Recovery Act funds. Elementary and Secondary Education: The jobs saved or created was 2,859.7 This included 2,208.83 teachers and related staff, 508.83 other non licensed personnel, and 142.04 administrative staff.
