Award Description: To provide financial assistance and housing re-location and stabilization to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless or help those who are homeless to be quickly re-housed due to the economy. The expected outcomes are that less families will be evicted or require shelter services. Approximately 600 individuals and 234 families will recieve assistance through the HPRP program funding. The City of Mesa will be able to create one part-time (35 hours per/wk) position to assist with the administration of the program.
