Award Description: Conduct modernization activities at two of our Public Housing Projects. This funding will result in providing employment for architects and engineers, construction workers and product manufacturers. In addtion this funding has allowed the modernization to take place at least a year earlier than anticipated -- creating more attractive units to rent.
Project Description: Project includes general renovaiton of the kitchen and bathroom in 7 units, bathrooms in 20 additional units and sidewalk repair as money allows.
Jobs Summary: Our Architects/Engineers hired one new full-time employee to provide services for the ARRA Program contracts. Because of the funds they were able to retain all current employees. The letter received indicated they might have had to dismiss two full-time employees if not for the ARRA Program. (Total jobs reported: 0)
