Award Description: Reveal Imaging Techologies was awarded the subject contract to provide 123 reduced size explosives detection systems with ancillary equipment. This technology, which quickly scans bags and analyzes the contents for explosives, will be distributed nationwide. Delivery of ten (10) systems per month begins September 30, 2009 continuing through July 31 ,2010 with a final shipment of thirteen (13) units on August 31, 2010.
Project Description: The Project has been appropriately staffed and the vast majority of purchase orders and subcontracts awarded. All ten (10) systems scheduled for September 2009 have been delivered. Program Management and manufacturing efforts at Reveal and its subcontractors continue in support of meeting the required monthly deliveries.
Jobs Summary: Jobs have been created or retained in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Departments at Reveal and at Reveal's Supplers. The positions filled are production planners, production technicians, test technicians, manufacuring assembly technicians and manufacturing engineers. Reveal's Customer Service Department is able to retain Field Service Engineers dued to the future deployment of the systems nationwide. (Total jobs reported: 200)
