Award Description: Removal and replacement of thirty-one (31) water valves ranging in size from 6' to 12' at various locations on Luke AFB. Work includes but is not limited to dig permits, scheduling outages, excavation, shoring, removal of the old valve, asbestos abatement, installation of the new water valve, backfill, compaction, paving, concrete work and site restoration.
Project Description: Following the completion of submittals and bonds, eight valves (8) were excavated and replaced and the sites restored completely. Currently six (6) more replacements are under construction. The remaining seventeen (17) valves are being scheduled. Due to the water outages, the project schedule is being continually changed to accommodate the mission of Luke Air Force Base.
