Award Description: The overall objectives of the City of Auburn’s EECBG projects are congestion mitigation and reduction of vehicle emissions; long-term reduction in energy consumption and operating and maintenance costs; and continued reduction of solid waste streams and energy consumption associated with disposal. Projects include pedestrian, bicycle and transit improvements in the downtown area; traffic signal coordination; alternative transportation promotional and safety campaign; energy efficiency audits and retrofits to existing facilities; LED street light retrofits; and expansion of the recycling program.

Project Description: Currently, all projects are in the design stage and specifications are being prepared to solicit bids.
