Award Description: Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program

Project Description: 1-Replace lighting at City Hall with LED poles and lights to provide greater efficiency and reduce greenhouse emissions. 2-Pilot Positive Energy's Home Energy Reporting System for 12,000 residences in Kirkland in partnership with Puget Sound Energy. 3-Replace windows at Fire Station 27 to enhance the City's commitment to environmental sustainability, provide greater energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse emissions. 4-Conversion of Traffic signals and pedestrian indicators at intersections throughout the City to LED.
