Project Description: This project is a bridge replacement on CR 85/Kimball Bridge Road two miles southeast of Alpharetta in Fulton County. The project is 0.554 miles long, consisting of removal of the existing Big Creek Bridge and replacing it with a higher, and wider bridge. The project will also improve and raise the grade of the bridge approaches from Rock Mill Road to Sheridan Ridge Court. The new bridge will be shifted to the south to accommodate future widening of the corridor. The approved typical section for the project will consist of two 12-ft travel lanes with four-foot bike lanes, and six-foot sidewalks on both sides of the bridge and rural grassed shoulders.
