Award Description: CDBG-R funds can be applied to the full range of CDBG eligible activities, and the purpose of CDBG-R funds is to apply the funds primarily to economic development, housing, infrastructure and other public facility activities that will quickly spur further economic investment, increased energy efficiency, and job creation or retention.

Planning, urban environment design and policy-planning-management-capacity building activities 1) Department of Development Services - Studies of neighborhood, housing and community development needs: $ 60,000 B. Program administrative costs 2)Department of Development Services - Payment of reasonable administrative costs related to planning and execution of community development activities, specifically general oversight of the CDBG-R program as well as Fair Housing and Federal Labor Standards Provisions. - $42,816 C. Public Services 3) Compass Youth Collaborative, Inc.- Peacebuilders Initiative - $154,224 D. Economic Development 4. Department of Development Services - Hartford Arts & Heritage Microenterprise Program - $600,000 E. Clearance 5) Department of Development Services - Complete razing (demolition) of structurally unsound residential and/or commercial buildings that pose an immediate public health and safety threat, which will address blight on a spot basis. - $50,000 F. Public Facilities and Improvements 6) Department of Public Works - Keney Park Pond House & Maria Sanchez Playground ? $121,117
