Award Description: CFDA# 17.235 - Senior Community Service Employment Program To provide subsidized, part-time, community service work-based training for low-income persons ages 55 or older who hae poor employment prospects. It is intended that these community service experiences serve as a bridge to other employment positions not supported wity Federal funds.

Project Description: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) Provides part-time paid work experience and unsubsidized job placement assistance to eligible, low-income District Seniors, ages 55 and older. The SCSEP program is currently training twelve participants of the twelve slots alotted through the subsidy.
