Award Description: The proposed supplemental project will extend the educational impact and dissemination of BiomedicineWorks beyond the parent grant target population to include low-income, first-generation, underrepresented students participating nationally in Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science. The proposed partnership with the Louis Stokes Institute for Opportunity in STEM Education will provide a format for sharing best practices and curricula in working with underserved populations on biomedical sciences and mathematics.
