Award Description: This project is for dredging of maintenance material in Charleston Harbor, Lower Reaches and the Wando River. Dredged material will be transported and dumped within the Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site. Overall, approximately 1.3 million cubic yards of material will be dredged and ocean-disposed. The only non-ARRA funded portion of the contract is the mobilization and demobilization.
Project Description: The contract commenced mobilization and dredging in the third quarter of 2009 with approximately 20,000 cubic yards dredged and disposed during the period.
